The Woods at Williams Creek
Developed in the early 2000s, a majority of The Woods at Williams Creek was constructed in 2006 and 2007. While development slowed due to the housing crisis, this community remained a great location for those desiring great schools, convenience to employment, recreation and shopping. With currently 66 homes within the community, the Williams Creek name is derived from the small creek located throughout the neighborhood which flows southeast into the White River. Many of the large lots along Bolderwood Lane actually have Williams Creek as a boundary/property line. An eclectic mix of two-story, custom-designed homes ranging in size from 6200-9100 square feet were constructed by various custom builders such as Curts Builders, David Morton, and Zeller Custom Homes (to name a few). The driving factor of home sales in many communities throughout Carmel is the overall quality of Carmel schools in multiple areas of academia, fine arts, and athletics. Currently The Woods at Williams Creek attends Smoky Row Elementary (a National Blue Ribbon school), Carmel Middle School and Carmel High School. It is also located just a few miles from shopping, restaurants, and downtown Carmel. The meandering creek, beautiful landscaping, location and inviting neighbors make this an incredible community to call home!
